Love is in the air in downtown Minneapolis where Hennepin County judges performed free marriage ceremonies Friday afternoon on Valentine's Day, a 12-year old tradition now.

"How did you know that he was the one?"

"Oh gosh, it just seems natural."

As it should be when Andrea decided to marry Byron.

"We complete each other, it feels like I have a partner, like it's never alone whether it's hard or not," she said.

And for Anthony Wallace, he knew Jacqueline was his queen when she agreed to jump in his semitruck and travel the country.

"There was no other woman that I'm thinking that I can drag around without kids that would be willing to even drive all alone see other states without getting the anxiety," Anthony told WCCO's Laura Oakes. "So finding her to go with me was my luck."

And the rest is happily ever after. They now own their own trucking company and Jacqueline is thrilled that so far she's been to 48 states.

"One day off the road, I just introduced myself to her, coming off the road and I said if you could spend a week with me on the road, we deserve to spend life together and we're still truck drivers five years later," he says. "Now we have a trucking company."

The county's Valentine's Day wedding ceremonies even bring in the musicians and photographers who volunteer their time for the weddings.
