MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The Minnesota Agriculture Expo begins Wednesday night at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center with hopes of continuing support for local farmers.

President of the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association, Darin Johnson, spoke on the importance of the event.

“You put together a comprehensive plan that represents all 25,000 farmers across the state of Minnesota because there’s different conservation practices, a lot of different practices across the state, and we just want to make sure that we’re taking that plan to St. Paul and Washington, DC and it’s representing all 25,000 farmers in the state of Minnesota.”

The event runs from Wednesday night to Friday afternoon with seminars, guest speakers, and is free to attend.
